It is an ideal place to find all the things you want to see and do, including shopping, dining, sports and fun. Frisco has become a major shopping destination with more than 4 million square feet of retail space. North Texas' largest mall, the Stonebriar Centre, is located in Frisco and offers over 160 stores, a public NHL sized ice skating arena and a 24-screen movie theater. There are also several outdoor shopping centers including The Centre at Preston Ridge, which offers a variety of specialty shops. Dining choices are almost endless with over 250 restaurants, from casual family dining to exceptional dining experiences. If you enjoy sports, The Dr. Pepper/Seven-Up Ballpark accommodates over 10,000 fans and is home to the Frisco RoughRiders, a AA baseball team and affiliate of the Texas Rangers. The Dr. Pepper StarCenter arena is the training facility for the Dallas Stars hockey team and the home for the Texas Tornado Junior Hockey League. At the Pizza Hut Park, the FC Dallas major league soccer team plays home games in the 20,000 seat stadium, which is surrounded by 17 tournament-size soccer fields.
