Aubrey is located in the Hwy 377 corridor just north of Hwy 380 between Denton and McKinney. It has always been known as horse country, but as the Metroplex marches north, it is going through a transition to more residential and offers everything from beautiful new construction homes to high end estates, although horse properties will always be a big part of the Aubrey landscape. Most of the higher density residential and commercial growth is along the Hwy 380 corridor. Land values for 5 to 20 acres in the Aubrey area will range from around $25,000 to $40,000+ per acre, depending on the property’s location.
